Took a Bus the other day for first time in about 20 years

TFL app makes things a bit nicer - know when the bus is coming without leaving the house, can check if there's one a minute behind which will probably be mostly empty, etc.

Buses are awful at some times (night buses, during school runs etc) but are ok at others.

The only bus I use is the one that goes from right by my house to the city centre. It rarely has anyone else on it, costs 90p and saves me the 20 minute walk. My overall experience is pretty good.

The only problem I have is the last one is at 7.20pm, which means if I fancy meeting someone in the pub it has to be an early one or I've got to walk. One at 8.20pm would be ideal.

The bi-yearly bus hating thread.

Still don't have a problem with them 1 minute walk to bus stop, 4 minute wait. 15 minutes to station.

You need to re-evaluate the place you choose to live if the entire bus is full of scum and stinking people.

I don't catch buses all that often, but when I do - I don't really mind.

It's easy enough to pop my earphones in, and shut off for a bit. Sometimes find it quite relaxing, definitely wouldn't complain about using a bus, as I really don't have a problem with them.
