Took delivery of pc and soaked in condensation

It's my understanding that this is beneficial to keep it on until the temp on the metal parts equals the room temp. Any moisture in the air lands on the wrap and not on the inside. Just give it a good airing as others have said plus a good wipe. I don't know if static charges may increase as your house might be more humid now than in the summer, but always something to be mindful of anyway.

Thing is they had the pc on all morning and pretty much boxed it up and sent it out. They sent me a video of it still on just before collection. I don’t think this would have been beneficial, as it would have acted as a greenhouse, then the temperature outside and overnight etc. My main concern is corrosion and issues that might not be apparent straight away let’s say. I’ve logged everything and made them aware so that if anything happens at a later date I’m covered anyway.
