Top Gear Is Back!!

Now, which of the three cars would you have?

I think I'd have the Caddy - even if you have to use jump leads everytime you want to start it! :D Ice-cold air-con - yummy! :D

fat stig was ace, anyone know who he was?

the hillbillys were very scary, major over reaction to some slogans, especially poor "brokeback".

New Orleans was very touching although it's a shame no one took the pimpmobile. Really liked the knackered caddy!

Top Gear is Top Entertainment which is good but a lot less on the cars sadly :(

I very much hope you realize the irony of what you are posting.

Indeed, but these people are unable to see/ not intelligent enough to see how they live and the attitudes they have are wrong - They are not able to be taught the error of there ways there not smart enough (go up to one of those hillbillys and explain the whole situation, id guess he would get angry and kill/hurt you), unfortunately as much as I hate violence sometimes you just have to wipe out and start again, for the betterment of the human race

Well you are a little silly to think all Americans act like that. Also not all English are as sweetness and light as you.

Your right obviously not all of them are like that, about 52% apparently, there current population is approx 298,444,215 (July 2006 est.), so round up the people with half a noggin of common sense, stick em on isle of white and nuke the rest :D

p.s. combat squirrel your a loon. Are you a muslim extremist?

lol, no im a 'normal kinda guy' thats getting sick and tired of the way the human race is heading fast, please can each and every human start thinking about the world abit more. It seem emotions (along with fairy tales in peoples heads,i.e. religion) have a large part in dictating peoples actions, perhaps it would be nice if each and every human looked at a situation subjectively instead of lashing out, I mean its such a mess (the human race) that hoping those hillbillys for example would look at those cars and think *hey thats there business, no need to get involved, no need for me to go and kill them* seems highly fictional, yet each and every human has that ability...............Im sure 99.99999999% of people on these forums, if they saw those cars in a garage at most they would laugh abit, go 'meh' and move on - why carnt every human do this ?

Sorry for venting but really cavemen had more common sense than those americans shown tonight - And I hope im wrong id bet a large proportion of alabama is like that - how worrying for the rest of the world the most powerful nation on earth thinks in the most bizarre of manors

well then you don't have to say "i think you can" if you do anyway :p

I mean I think they do it on the website offically and easily obtainable. Obviously there is always other alternatives :) The americans are big fans of it and they say nothing they have is like it because of advertising pressure from companies. So its always around on the internet because of that.
I think BBC has plans to make it available offically internationally.

They may not love this episode by the sounds of it but hopefully get the joke :p

Shock, horror, even the UK has bad places...

What do you think would happen if you drove around with "Nazi's were great" down the side of your car, ANYWHERE in England? You'd probably be in hospital in minutes. No different really.

That.

Was.

Brilliant.

I loved May's Caddy - proper American sedan, slow.....boat-like handling, great air-con (right up until your mates trash it :D). Was thinking about the $1k budget - my Olds cost about $900 at the current exchange rate, and that was with a non-working emissions control pump (and thus non-working air-con as they share the same drivebelt), battery and alternator on last knockings (battery as it was a crap European replacement, alternator because it was 15 years old and worn out), leaky rubber seals and a smattering of tinworm. Every time I've been to the US, cars in the exact same condition as mine was in have been selling at around their budget, so I'm not surprised that the production team were able to buy three complete wrecks :D

Interesting point, but I don't remember homosexuals and people that happen to vote for Hilary Clinton, and don't like western country music destroying country's and causing mass genocide as the nazi's did. So your right people in the UK would probably go abit miffed (for a reason), but then they wouldnt kill said person (even one who supports the Nazi's). Again think of a situation, see whats actually happening then react accordingly, instead of on instinct.

Anyhows ill stop ranting in this thread now (to many posters delight no doubt ;) ), great episode showing the usa, USA fat stig, COMICAL, couldn't stop laughing. We should defo start a thread on human behaviour at some point, what ya reckon ? :p

To be fair, if I drove round with "Nazi's were great" written down the side of my car, yeah, people will be a bit miffed, a bit angry, maybe very angry. I suspect very few will be "phoning the boys" to come and get me :p
