i thought i'd missed it too, then thought it's ok, it's recorded on V+, looked and it wasn't there, i was almost gutted when i remembered that it wasn't on this week

I'm not totally sure why this is news. Unless I'm totally mistaken, he's done it before? And his time before was equal to Lewis's time (albeit Lewis's was in the wet).

I remember Clarkson telling Button he took a different line to the Stig. Button replied 'well he's obviously not a Formula 1 driver then'.

Wiki says he's already set a time in the 'Hot' and matched Lewis's time in the Wet/Oil. So I'd agree - looks unlikely to better it in the snow.
