They should have Chris Harris, Jodie Kidd, Frank Williams and Amir Khan could be the Stig.

Then everyone will be represented and happy. No more controversy.

Dear god no.

We all know Fox is really the secret love child of Chris Goffey. Stick a beard and a nice v neck sweater on him and it would be just watching old top gear again !

(for the record, before anybody leaps to his defense, I'm well aware i'd be less enjoyable to watch than the fat one from Series 1 of Top Gear we all pretend never existed lol)

Filled with insightful gems of information such as the in car temperature sensor being behind the cup holder on the 5 series. Resulting in a boiler hot car if your beverage is cold or a freezing cold car if it is warm. I couldn't imagine what my life would be like if I didn't know this or why it has been stuck in my brain for the last 5 years. :(




Tbh I hope either the BBC sell it off to another network who hire the trio or kill it off completely.

The first part is, when he starts saying about "What you did wrong was..." - yeah, no ****.

However, the second part where he lists what Clarkson should do next is pretty sound advice as far as I can see - given by Morgan who knows what it's like to feel humiliated, ashamed and fired publicly from a powerful job.

But don't get me wrong, I still hate Piers Morgan with a passion.

EDIT: Ok, i've just read it again and even the bits where he's attempting to give decent advice to Clarkson, are laced with him saying how amazing he is. Apparently being a judge on American's Got Talent, watching a bunch of monkeys perform tricks, is something to be proud of? Interesting. He's such a ****.

I agree with Conscript.

Chris Harris is the only other car reviewer I enjoy watching, but he's a car enthusiast who reports on cars who gives my fix of nerdy and in depth car reviews. On the other hand, Clarkson is a great, strong tv personality who provides very well liked car based entertainment.

The two are very different and I honestly cannot think of anyone who would replace Clarkson, or James May/Hammond who compliment him as they have grown together. The whole character of the show would have to change to be compatible with new presenters, and then they run the risk of not being compatible with the fans/public, and go the same way as Fifth Gear.
 
If the victims of those assaults simply went and reported the matter to the Police then they could have been dealt with appropriately. When such issues are being addressed internally, there's always a danger that they will be swept under the carpet.
