Top Gear Series 18 *SPOILERS*

Of course you'd fix it but having bought a Lambo in the first place, you'd never put the car in a position where it could pick up some dents and scratches in the first place.

By the sound of your post, it's as if you'd use it as a daily and wouldn't care if it picked up any scratches.

This. My boss has always only even driven his Lambos from his house and back to his house and never parks it anywhere. It draws too much attention and he is always worried it will be scratched. However, his Aston Martin Vanquish he would drive to customers and leaving left it in a public carpark of a Holiday Inn once!

I did laugh a bit when his last brand new Mercialago got delivered and he was reversing it into his garage (which has underfloor heating btw) up a slope and forgot to push the button to raise the suspension for speed humps and scrapped the underneath of the front bumper. £1000 repair bill before he had even driven 10 yards.

When he sold it later to a guy in Australia it needed a full front end respray due to the excessive stone chip damage though. Stones hitting Lambo's at up to 200 mph do a lot of damage..........

Didnt stop him buying one though did it ;)

i just think it is a sily reason to discount such a lovely car. The Mclaren or Noble are probably just as likely to get some dings/scratches anyway.

Nope and he is very anal with his cars and looking after them, hence only parking them at his house.

Doesn't stop them getting damaged from proper use though. Afterall, they are toys and only do about 3000 miles per year.

Can't wait for his Aventador to arrive in March........

Today's episode, sounds good:

Jeremy Clarkson and James May travel to Beijing to learn about China's car industry, which has seen great expansion in recent years - but also have a violent encounter with one of the Stig's cousins. Meanwhile, Richard Hammond immerses himself in the world of Nascar at a race in Texas, and the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster is wrestled around the test track, emitting serious amounts of noise and smoke in the process. Matt LeBlanc is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car

Would have forgotten had it not been for the email reminder from this thread!

As a 90's F1 fan, I always enjoyed Nascar and Indycar racing. Always found it more enjoyable after the Mansell/Senna/Schumacher/Hakakaienen era ended in F1.

Nascar does look good but its just too long, same with a lot of American sports, just drawn out and take product/placements to the next level.
