Torchlight II

I have just found the original Torchlight manual online. I will read that as from what I have read the gameplay is very similar.

Hey guys,
Anyone following mods for this?
Really wanting a full skill reset :(

Been cracking fun so far tho.
Played outlander and Eng to ~30

Already exists, can use the console to do it (will flag you as a cheater) or download the respec potion mod (google it) which will not flag you as a cheater. Bare in mind it's a complete replacement of your Shared Stash so be sure to back that file up first, such as on desktop, load the modded save stash and take a bunch of potions out, then put your own shared stash back in.

As for the Legendary above, indeed I did not scroll to the right side, and has that poster given the FXAA settings he used yet?

Got some nice items aswell, ended up buying the necro skull helmet from a one use only vendor :D

This is the best hack n slash/rpg i've played since diablo 1/2

Was a fan of the original, but with diablo 3 coming out, didn't think I'd be too interested. Played through the demo, I was wrong.

Played as a one click wonder beserker (no secondary skill at all, just passives) on vet. It was tough until I found a legendary claw called Juniper Zill which has a 20% chance to cast eviscerate. It's rather nice.

And £15 is a damn nice price.

Please don't say that, all the D3 nerds will come in and derail the thread again. :(

:D

tbh after playing D3 for quite some time and being a hardcore fan of D1+2 I'm looking forward to playing Torchlight 2. The first one was AMAZING imo !

That said I've got other games to be playing at the moment so I'l prob wait till this gets cheaper and play it towards xmas :)

How is the co-op ? Also is it a similar to Torchlight one ? or is it more "open world" (I know I could prob find that info out on interwebz but meh :p )

I finished the campaign the other day and decided I would have some fun with the dungeon maps last night. I was not really sure what I was doing to start with and bought the first map from the map vendor. That was a mistake. I got into the dungeon and was immediately annihilated. Turns out that was a level 100 dungeon. Teach me to read things next time.

After that little blunder I found the level appropriate maps and they were much better. They seem to have different properties for the dungeons, with buffs and debuffs for either you or the monsters or both, an interesting mechanic.

I ran a couple of these and had a blast. It was a nice break from re-doing the campaign right away.

Found this at the dice guy, took a risk then did some enchantments :D

However

Getting some issues

Not sure if it's the FXAA tool causing it, but the game is minifreezing and sound glitch/cutting out.

Game is quite good, worth a play through, just isn't much of an endgame. Simply becomes too faceroll and severely lacks any form of challenge to be fun beyond story completion

It's mods that made the first Torchlight increase its longevity tenfold though, I'm sure it'll be the same for TL2 once the mod kit has been released
