Aww go on, I'm in need of a new background! :)

Pretty please?

I doubt he would like to give out any higher res images as he'd probably liked to sell the pictures.

The photoshop was moderately easy actually, just a magnetic lasso and place onto the first image. I am a photoshop novice though. :p

I went outside last night about 10:30 and i couldnt see no moon i thought there was going to be an eclipse, or is that tonight.

:( :( :( Shame you missed it, was amazing.

What I don't get is how did it move in and out of the shadow so fast when it takes 28 days to orbit the earth? Or is there some crazy maths I'll never understand involved? haha

Because the Earth spins on its axis.

What's that got to do with the Moons position in relation to Earths shadow? Doesn't make any difference which direction is up!

The Earth orbiting the sun would affect it, not its axis. I just thought the moon moved through the shadow faster than I'd have expected. Thinking about it though, a solar eclipse doesn't last as long!

no what he ment because the earth spins as well as the moon orbiting which equal to the us living on the earth seeing the moon moving much faster, hence we see the moon (depending on its phase) everynight not once a month (which is how long it takes the moon to orbit the earth)
