Yay found it! I was gonna go for a drive too, but walked out of my apartment block and it was staring at me slap bang in the face! (It was on the one side I can't see out of my flat!).

Really, really beautiful... bordering on scary!

That's the kinda stuff that makes me want to be an astronaut :(
 
seems like its finishing now, white of the moon is coming back. Wondering whether to stay up and get the second half in pictures.

Not really something that interest's me but i have just had a look and seen it but as other people have said its starting to go now.

has been a good viewing tonight despite the odd whisps of cloud :)

Was thinking that, but the craters arnt symmetrical unfortunately. :(

That's awesome mate.

Moon looks like a bit of an egg in 1024x768 though, haha. I'll see if I can crop but I don't trust myself to do a print screen in paint! Apologies if I massacre your picture (even though it's only going to be my desktop).
