my favs used to be FPS , css/bf2/q3 etc but pkayed Gw for ages and have coh, medII

just cant play anything at moment need something fresh or maybe a few months off, been gamming everyday since 1998 pretty much .

would like a relaxing game I can play

I'm gonna guess your mainly an online multiplayer gamer? :)

I think too much mp gaming can affect enjoyment of sp gaming...

Its like a fix you need and you dont get the same fix from sp gaming.

SP gaming is a diffferent kettle of fish entirely. Different sort of patience and involvement involved i think.

And too much mp gets you used to the fix and makes you like SP less. You need to go cold turkey on all MP gaming bud. :)

Play something thats not an FPS - Id actually recommend a platform game like Psychonauts, PoP or even Lego Star Wars...

It would be a good break from all those FPSes...

ps3ud0

Get yourself a PS2 and a copy of X-Com Enemy Unknown. Forget the graphics, this game will have you hooked for ages.

I still wish i had my copy now :(

im a FPS addict too

bf2142 with buddies off of here, ludix, killer uk, myself and many others is awsome imo

just bought graw 2 and im loving that as well

personally methinks its what you make it :D

some friends of mine are at me to get an xbox 360,i wouldnt waste the money, 16 players in a game to me is a joke. least in bf2 32 at the least and joint ops 150 think ill stick with the ol pc

i used to be an avid fps gamer, but in the last year, the only game thats got me sticking at it is c&c3, only because i'm a huge c&c fan but recently i've gotten into company of heroes. maybe i'm just an rts freak.
:)

I had this problem for about 6 months, was fed up with no decent releases and have since defected (partially) to 360. Im waiting on crysis to reignite my interest in pc gaming.

i know I am going to be upgrading to play crysis but I don't want to spend loads of money and then still not play anygames as I have my heart set on a macbook to lounge on the sofa with and would hate to spend £600 on my upgrade that I could get mb with.

same here, got my self a PS2 (just to play final fantasy). After a few months off im enjoying css again. Everyone goes throught it from time to time. Just have a break, go out into the real world for a bit, you will soon get sick of it and want to come back to your pc :D

I know exactly what you mean, I can't get myself to play any games for a significant period of time or I get seriously bored. I usually just end up turning on my 360 and playing Pro Evo again and again. Games these day just lack fun gameplay.
Isn't this a good thing though? Games are ultimately pointless - so if you now "can't get myself to play any games for a significant period of time" then that's great news. You can go off and do something more exciting with your life.

I can't get myself to watch Big Brother for a significant period of time - that's good thing!

?

:)

though given the choice of watching BB or refreshing google.co.uk all day, i choose the latter!

Id recomend Oblivion its first (or third) person but with swords, bows magic character immersion to the extreme and I would hazard a guess in saying its the most un-linear game ever made you can simply do anything at any time.

I play BF simply because it's a quick electronic version of running around airsofting that can fit into an hour or less in the evenings.

If your like me the gaming when your older just doesn't solve all your wants, desires etc. I know no game will but there's still fun in soaking up free time. Free time is outside of family, hobbies, work and sleep.

I think you (OP) need to 'expand your life' for example try some additional hobbies then just use games in the times you know there's nowt to do..

i work 11hrs a day go to gym straight from work fot 1.5hrs a day i lok after my son at weekends, so yer give me some more time and I'll expand my hobbies :)
