Totally fed up with gaming

I've also lost my gaming wood, last game I played and enjoyed was Dawn of war II and the expansion.

I'm really hoping there is going to be a Company of Heroes 2, that would hopefully rekindle my gaming love.

I recon its just certain points in your life, can't say i've got bored with gaming but recently i've pretty much just been doing photoshop and video editing (project work etc) none stop!

Defintely feels more productive!

Like previously said, get Starcraft 2 and it'll all be sorted ;)

I've been through phases I've not enjoying gaming, but then it comes back to me. It gets quite expensive when you sell your gaming pc each time though ;)

I'm the total opposite at nearly 30 I cant stop buying games but i've always been like that and I hate TV

Ditto, I'm a Game potato lol (rather than couch, get it? Oh never mind :P)

Except I tend to just stick with games I love over and over and rarely by new ones >_>

I have a load of games that I've yet to play, as I have a load of DIY to do, and a wife that doesn't appreciate the importance of gaming when that DIY isn't completed.

My answer was going to a 4 day LAN party with my brother, and gaming solidly for each one of those 4 days. Waaaaay too much gaming, and too little sleep, made me very happy, and cleared a back-log of my games. I didn'y play any of the tournament matches the LAN Party had organised, I just got my head down and played. :)

If the problem is you can't find a game that you enjoy, then just stick with the ones you like. It's no crime. I buy too many games as it is, and I really should cut back. (Bloody Steam sales!) Hell, I still play XCOM, occasionally.

I get like this when I have too many games. Usually happens when I buy stuff when I'm waiting for a really good game to come out.

Same i like having a few games and being good at them, and hate swapping between games. As the controls are normally slightly different game to game.

im getting slightly fed up, I was expecting medal of honor to bring something new to the table but it just looks like a reheated cod (allow me to flog a horse).

nothing extroardinary is happening in the mmo genre, yes we have swtor on the way but I think the mmo market is too swamped with generic clones, and the game isnt doing much new.

to top it all off, my most played game as of late is UT2004 - a six year old game. Its a pity nothing has come along that has the same fluidity, there isnt a deathmatch focused game that the competetive players have embraced since.

I've completed COH, Crysis, HL2 + Episodes, Vampire Bloodlines and others fairly recently.

I'd say do as others have suggested, and find 1 game and try to invest more time into it - I tend to play like that these days.

Have you tried any of the Total War series? I'm still LOVING Rome at the moment, I find it just a superb blend of management/action and still discovering new tactics and fighting styles.

I'd say find other things to do for a bit, then pick 1 game thats been suggested, get a demo or the full thing cheap, and try investing more time into it.

Also, the games you listed are pretty much all shooters? New genre time perhaps?

(give Rome a go! Enjoy... then await the coming of Marius' legions) :)
