There will be plenty of used pampered ones once the PCP deals run out…
Many people will be scratching an itch and will sell in my view
Lots of people will be moving on to the next big/new thing.

The used prices seem all over place…..

Are some of the cheaper cars not actually available otherwise why on earth are some prices so high if other cheaper cars are available.
Over 3000 miles in ours now, crazy good fun car!
I think I saw someone paid over list for a 3k mile car on the Facebook group. Mad really.
Yeah but waiting list is 2023 and later now with Nio confirmation they will actually get one.
Think the cheaper cars advertised seem to be dealers just advertising the price of a new car but with no actual stock or just forgotten to take the adverts down, the cheapest available cars seem to all be 34k plus, if Toyota pull the plug values will go up more.

A smidge over 40k with auction fees, still fetching very strong money second hand, WBAC now offering 35k for my own and thats with 3500 miles, lol.
Still nearly six months on this car is nothing short of freaking awesome, love it, not selling!
Mate no way is anyone gonna wait over a year for a Yaris GR.
Well clearly there are lots of people and those who don’t want to wait are paying overs, demand for the car is strong, it’s easily the best modern b road hot hatch out there.
Gonna be a huge crash once the deliveries turn up. Global chip shortage and hype is keeping the prices solid for now.
I’m sorry but anything over a year wait for anything other than a custom spec car(think Aston or ad personam Lambos) is silly.
I think the last we heard from Toyota was the waitlist for anyone in 2023 onwards. The longer any disruption to production carries on for pushes them closer I imagine to the rumoured Corolla production.
So they might run out of time in whatever production cycles they have scheduled and no more are made after the end of 2022. Which for the wider car buying enthusiasts is a shame.
It might actually have been my best new car purchase ever when looking at current residuals. It is obviously, half decent to drive as well.
I just waited 9 months just to get some engine build parts due to the current environment, nevermind a whole car.
I should probably buy more brand new cars, I've only done it twice and on both occasions depreciation has been minimal, last one was Mustang.
I've got some terrible history with used cars, M3 CSL, purchased at like 27k, sold for like 24-25k a year or so later they were 50k plus lol. My 911 can't remember purchase price but might have been around 35k, sold it 5 years later for late 20's but now it would be 50+. Fingers crossed though times are changing forever as the cars I now own I could sell for more than paid, no intentions of selling any though to be honest, I am sure at somepoint I will when I get fedup of washing, servicing and having to repair them all, lol.
