Traded in the RS6 due to running costs, got this instead

I love the OP:

"I bought an RS6, you said it would be expensive to run and it was... so what I did was I bought another one"

:D

Also, do a remap and your warranty play nicely together? Also presumably things like gearboxes and clutches don't come under the warranty because they are consumables? So the running costs will still be high? Not to mention tyres...

But it would need to be used :(

There's a new one coming out but it's less powerful and only a V8. I'm thinking of sabotaging the factory to try to protect my residuals for a little longer.

Edit: As for remaps voiding the warranty, the dealer said that, as an authorised Audi franchise, they absolutely couldn't advise me to have the remap removed in the event of a warranty claim.

A new one is due out soon, or I would track down one that had been garaged since purchase :D
Either way, it's pretty unlikely I'm going to win the lottery.

Absolutely awesome. How much better an AMG E Class or whatever else you can buy for this money would have been is irrelevent - you are clearly an Audi nut and frankly you can keep your R8's because this is the ultimate Audi :D
Spot on.

Love these cars. Moar pics please.

lol i know its a v10 etc but if i was to do the nur ring id prefer not to do it in an estate!

All decent Audi's need to be estates! Must help weigh down the back a bit and slightly offset the fact the entire weight of the engine is ahead of the front axle. Probably handle better than the saloons :)
