Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

I've not seen Intel this low (<$20) for a while now. Tesla took a bit of a hit too, so many people thinking it was going to hit $500 before the end of the week.

I previously said I was watching Boeing as a potential value pick. Just an update to say I'm not anymore. There's some overlap with Lockheed Martin which I already own, commercial flying doesn't really interest me, and it's unnecessary exposure to accidents and pandemics etc, and I won't be looking at any airline stocks either for the same reason.

Edit: Bought some GOOGL

Ah so the big plunge was because Musk, having bought the US government, is starting to play with his new toys.
Was FOMC yesterday which ties in with the fall (7pm onwards GMT time) but I think the prospect of the US government shutting down for a while hasn't helped. A 25bps rate cut was announced but the cycle might be coming to an end and current projection is for only two U.S rate cuts next year I think. This was bullish for the dollar which can also cause headwind for risk assets.

I've been looking around the 212 groups and subreddits seeing what's what. Which begs the question - where do you guys get your info from?
This thread :)

More seriously, I don't get any information from anything related to trading apps or subreddits or websites. It's mostly hot garbage.

Either invest in index trackers, or if you want to buy equities, go to the company investor page and understand the business yourself.

Sold mine for 25% gain.
It was an interesting experience watching it struggle to take off because the news wasn't posted. Learnt that I don't much enjoy having to keep an eye on it like that, so I'm happy to take the win even if it ends up not being optimal.
A gain is a gain, but the news hasn't been posted yet. It could be after Xmas for all we know

PLTR seems to be refusing to go with the sell offs.
gives me faith to keep holding.

The army renewed a pretty decent sized contract so I guess that helps

Palantir Technologies ($PLTR) said Wednesday it extended its partnership with the US Army to deliver the Army Vantage capability, supporting the Army Data Platform. The value of the new contract is about $400.7 million for a period of up to four years, with an available ceiling of about $618.9 million, the company said.

Yea I dumped the only quantum I had earlier

there all like 1billion market cap on 1mil revenue, its nuts.

Intel must be at a point now where if they went bankrupt you'd still get your money back.

could see 18$ yet

not often you see that... most my other stocks the price target is like half of what they are running at.

Barely anyone shorting it, price targets all above share price.
how weird... Wonder if it bounces back to 20 as soon as a new ceo is announced.

I guess there's too much growth in other stocks to consider it, when that changes I wonder if intel sees a lot of value buys

One stock that's done great for me recently is BYRN, they sell non lethal weapons and touted to become integral to Trumps border force. They became profitable in October, I've doubled up twice but it's still going. Seem to be getting some good traction, announced today a partnership to expand manufacturing to Argentina
