Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

I was sort of blown away with the Nvidia presentation and it just made me think how many use it as just a short term money maker (fair enough) but longer term looks amazing, I know the market wasn't over impressed with the very short term catalysts.
I am not clued up enough to comment on the technicals at the present price but please chip in if anyone has any thoughts.
Mr Powell could just pummel it with everything else today though, I only have a 2 dollar a share buffer at the time of posting

If you don’t know what your paying for… don’t buy it…

But let me tell you about my magic beans… do you have a cow?

The market knows that though, look at its P/E ratio.

ehhhh, do what on earth are you even thinking a about the stock then?

There is a reason Buffet invests heavily in Coca Cola znd Dominos Pizza i think it is. They are industries he understands, products he can analyze and then evaluate intrinsic value and risks.

I've tried getting my head around Nvidia fundamentals but see totally opposing views even when the results came out some analysts said hey amazing then the next day , well no it's not so amazing and it dumped .
You can trade catalyst's as well as forward pe ratios , I called it wrong but then was the time to point out why it might end up wrong.
Anyway I am still in profit until Powell starts talking

Tech is always more risky. Risk vs reward, but not much reward at the moment :D

Pretty much every tech stock is listed as high volatility.

Right on time down 18% :p
Yep it was guaranteed :pI've done a fair bit of tweaking since i had a big position .I've mentioned this but 2k went to Nvidia at $113 and a few other trades that i am keeping quiet about until they pay off .
Tomorrow could be crazy though ,hint
its a trading setup that only happens 4 times this year .

made the right call on selling dwave after regretting it, made more than i get at work for a week anyway for doing nowt, back in the cash isa.

The stock market seems to have calmed down a bit this last week or so. Providing DJT & Co can keep their traps shut over the next 2 weeks I've decided to pull all my funds out into a Cash ISA at the beginning of the new financial year. I expect it won't be long until the volatility starts again ... don't want my money to be involved in a 4 year rollercoaster.

The Mrs has a few single stocks on T212 with small amounts invested (less than £100).

I suggested that she sells them and invests in a passive fund..

Her reply: "No, I like watching them go up and down".

Me: "You like watching them go up AND down?".

Her: "Yeah".

:)
Wish I could share in that joyous wonder with a six figure sum invested ....

just been doing some sums as it's close to the end of the fiscal year...
4.74% for my Vangard ISA
4.26% for my T212 ISA
71.59% for my work shares... I'm expecting a lot more next year even if the share price holds as I have options coming in.
-5.66% for my normal T212, but that's excluding shares that I've already sold and it's now such a small part of my assets.
5.60% for my pension....

Total gain for this tax year so far is 7.04%
it could have been a lot more if I did it two months ago...lol

There doesn't seem to be much information yet but April 2 will now focus on reciprocal

Trump is going for tit-for-tat strategy.

The market will respond on how other politicians act.

Do individual countries in the EU make tariff decisions or is it EU level? If its EU level then expect a trade war.
