Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

He's either an evil genius who's just making bank to buy out the whole country, or he's dumb as a bag of rocks. I can't decide between the two.

Its one of the two. And I don't know what's worse!
What's more unbelievable is how many senior Republicans are sucking up to him watching their pensions dive.

How is someone this destructive so unopposed? Even selfishly, you'd think his peers would be trying to reign this in.

He doesnt care about the stock market particularly. Middle America have 10% of their wealth in the stock market.

I don't think he cares about his supporters that's for sure.
Maybe he just wants to be in the history books and who cares if it's positive or negative.

He's pretty old. So any think he cares about making money.

All bets are off. Risks outweigh rewards. Can't really "invest" if goalposts get moved every day.

I doubt senior republicans are worried about their pensions. Already millionaires many times over and probably getting tipped off about what is happening in advance..

Because evil genuis or bag of socks, he has enough influence to destroy anyone's political career if you don't appropriately fawn to him.

I doubt he really cares billionaires know their wealth isn't "real" accessible wealth and it would be impossible to sell your entire shares without the company dumping so the value is never "real" anyway.

Literally in a position where money means nothing to them, it has no value.

It's literally impossible for them to spend it faster than it gains interest etc it's just something that exists like "fresh air" it';s just always there.

Imagine trying to dig a well but you can;t empty the water fast enough, that's what it would be like if you were a billionaire and went on some crazy spending spree.

even 2.5 % on a lousy single digit 1 billion would be about 70k a day, or you could buy 588x 4 bedroom homes in London and rent them out.

you can';t even begin to imagine how rich these people are just passively.

They do the "buy, borrow, die" thing. Buy something really expensive (or just have a lot of cash) and live off low interest loans taken out against it. They never need to spend their own money.

The richer you get, the easier it is to do.

Wowzers been busy this last couple of days but the markets flat as a pancake again, I thought it had started to recover earlier this week. Was kicking myself that I didn't buy the dip too :o

very much the latter
I keep flipping from. One to the other. First I thought he was a loon. Then I thought it was market manipulation. Now I'm swinging back to loon.

The archaic behaviour doesn't seem to follow or resemble anything that could constitute a plan.

Oh, he has a plan. Just that is heavily flawed and outdated ; he is trying to undo 50 years of globalisation. He wants the US to return to what it was like pre WW2 ; an abundance of skilled labour.

Even if that is what he wanted he has no idea about the economy or how tarrifs work.

The irony is the US has more skilled labor than ever before, but trying to turn the US to a pre-WW2 economy means replacing skilled with unskilled labour

Most of my funds are tied up in Nvdia and BTC. However, i am like 40-45% down on SUI and Hbar. This last week has been brutal. I guess, it's not a loss until i sell. Over $100 billion lost in last 24 hours on the crypto market is insane.
