Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

Anything sub 6p is going to be very tempting, however i might hold till closer to the 5.5p mark but i'm not sure we have that long, first sign of news and its going to climb right back to 7p plus imho.

I've made around 21% on FOGL now, but with daily gains of 8% i do wonder if this share is going to climb all the way back up to 160 - 180p, if it does i might be better off leaving my money in FOGL and putting new money into RRL.
 
I've decided to have a £500 punt on FOGL and keep most of my investment money in the bank for a quick jump back into RRL.

I'm up around 20% on FOGL :)
 
5.5 on RRL sounds good indeed! Yup, I don't think it will be long now though.

I have some FOGL at the pre crash price, but when it dropped 50% I immediately bought a load more to make profit and make up for the losses!

Nah a work colleague has been in them for ages since the 130 days, so was a bit gutted to see it. I was convincing him it would recover though - shoudl have listened to my own advice lol

I have a small punt I got in back in 2009 at 160p.

UEN are my oily +30% on tuesday

good buy.. i think i should have done the same. i initially got in around feb so not hurting too much but a purchase just post crash would have brought my average down nicely.

my biggest holding BKIR is not looking great atm.... need them to release some good news to take the portfolio back into the black. without my RKH holdings i think i might have jumped under a bus by now :)
 
Do we think FOGL will climb day on day until it is back to around 200 then?

I have 35% of my holding at 210 and 65% of my holding at 110. Wish I put more in at 110 now, could have easily sunk £10k in :(
 
Oh my, FOGL going mental!

127 to 136 in about 2 mins.

Soon as the movement of a DW Rig is announced it will be back to 200 right away.

Edit: now at 140 the mms know something we don't, expect an RNS soon.

I did in BP as I knew it would come good.

FOGL are doing a Desire IMO. I just sold 2k of Aviva and put it in FOGL. Confident we will see 200 before end of this month.
 
I've been out of the office for a couple of hours so missed all the FOGL fun.

Not sure if I should go in at 133 in the hope we see a big positive jump upwards!
 
Well this is turning out to be one of my better moves, got in at 103.89 and its kicked off big time, 143 now, 38% up, not bad for a few days work!

Edit, as a side note we might be getting RRL news tomorrow on the Smith well, its overdue atm, think we have a 20% stake in it.
 
I think I'll stick with my current FOGL investment and use my previous RRL winnings should tomorrow take a turn for the better. Still at around 6.1xx....
 
I'm thinking I may jump in quickly if things look good in the morning :)

I'm watching FOGL more closely at the moment. I'm not sure we're going to see previous high figures just yet so may jump out if it starts to level out.
