Yep the white cider used to be a lot cheaper as it's not actually cider rather just fermented sugar with the cores of apples thrown in to allow it to be classed in the cider tax band and not the alchopops tax band, why it has such a foul taste. I think that changed not so long ago or maybe just inflation but used to be a lot cheaper not s long ago.
