I would have thought this would have been asked many times before, i searched and it didn't seem to be.

I am upgrading my system and wondered if i can tranfer my 2 RAID0 arrays intact onto my new motherboard.

Existing mobo is a DFI LP ultra-d, using onboard sata RAID0 setup. Want to tranfer to a Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L Intel P31.

I have 2 x WD 37.5gb raptors in 2 partitions (windows and games)
and 2x250gb in RAID0 also in 2 partitions.

Is this move possible?

PS obviously will be re-installing windows XP onto the Windows partition

No, unless you are using a raid card as the Ultra D is nVidia and the gigabyte is Intel.

cant u image the drives using Acronis to an external HD then once your HD on your new mb are setup then image them back to the new mb hd's
