transfer steam game file to neww ssd/HELP

HI,I COPED A 195GB STEAM FOLDER FROM MY SAMSUNG HDD OVER TO MY NEW CRUCIAL C-300 SSD,BUT EVERYTHING SEEMS FINE,ALL MY GAMES ARE THERE BUT WHEN I TRYED TO PLAY COD5 MY RANK WAS BACK AT 1,AND ALL MY GAME SAVES HAVE VANISHED,ITS LIKE IM PLAYING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME,AND ITS THE SAME WITH ALL MY OTHER GAMES,WHATS WRONG?,I TRANSFERD THE WHOLE FILE OVER SO I DONT UNDERSTAND WHATS WRONG GUYS,CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE

Don't use capitals only, it's really hard to read..

I don't play COD, but I assume the savegame is saved in My Documents somewhere, google to find out where it is

the third party games don't fully integrate with steam, they put their save game files and config files in the same places that they'd be if you bought a DVD version of the game. Like bledd said, they are probably in your old '\users\name\documents', or '\users\name\appdata\' somewhere on your Samsung drive.
