Transferring my data please help

Hi all, I am upgrading my PC and getting a new hard drive (SATA 3), the thing is my current HDD is IDE and I won't be able to connect it to the new motherboard that I have ordered. So Is there anyway I can transfer my data that are on my current IDE to the new HDD?

If you're upgrading enough to run the old and new PC simultaneously then you could simply transfer over your local LAN. Otherwise you'll need a USB to IDE converter or a caddy of some sort - IDE is pretty rare these days so you might struggle.

just plug in the new hdd into your old mb alongside your old ide hdd and clone everything across

once done connect the newly cloned sata3 hdd to your new mb in ide mode and apply this reg tweak(download/run it) reboot into bios,set to ahci mode/save/reboot into windows and thats it
