So, Bay obviously said he'd come back for Transformers 4 and it looks like things are starting to get in motion for filming and we have our first look at what the Autobots are going to look like in vehicle mode along with some pics of as yet un-named Autobots:

Optimus:

Bumblebee:

As yet unknown:

Another unknown:

Autobots roll out:

Optimus and an unknown truck:

I'm really looking forward to this I must admit.

Release date is penned in for June 29th 2014.

:D

So let the flaming commence.

That's looks more like a Transformers' fan club got together in a desert and took some pictures.

They shouldn't make anymore, the last one was totally forgettable.

Apart from the camero they look horrific :(

Its like they designed the toys first then created the real thing. It kind of sets the tone already for T4. Gutted.

At a guess I'd say there is Prime, Blur, Springer, Bulkhead and Ratchet in the background.

The biggest question is - can this be any worse than any of the previous versions?

I also hope they've shot whoever wrote the script.

Can't say I give a **** about this film. I was hoping they would start anew, get some fresh ideas and a director who can actually direct. Someone like Neil Blomkamp would be ideal in my opinion. Alas, it is Bay once again. *sigh*

They might not be the best of movies but does anyone really watch them for anything other than the action scenes and awesome audio? They're mindless entertainment and i for one enjoy them :)

You're right with this.

But the 3rd just was mind numblingly forgettable, I can't remember a single scene from the film other than a building getting tore up by a big decepticon.

And I actually really enjoyed 1 & 2.

The last one made over $1bn... They'll not stop making these for a while yet I guess.

You're probably right. You just need to look at the statement by Marvel about the Iron Man franchise, they've said they'll keep making them with or without Robert Downy Junior and can see there being 10 or even 20 of them. Dollar signs are all these companies see, especially when they bring in excess of $1billion at the box office.

I don't mind in this case as i'll watch just for the silly action and reference audio, eventually we'll get bored of that and move on but it will probably take them another movie or few to realise.
