I was very disappointed with transformers 4. The sound score was terrible. A lot of the action scenes over used slow motion and were completely soundless. They realy went cheap on the sound on this one. They even reused some sound samples from the second one.
Not a patch on the first one and with next to no humour compared to the first three was boring to watch at times. The opening scene was awful with the guy from silicon valley and was glad he got taken out early as was not looking forward to his bad jokes the whole film. The cheesyness of "i am an inventor and i need to know how it works" It was just a poor script and don't think whalberg fitted the role that much.
The middle scene was probably the best as the last scene with the dinosaur robot was just bad, the magnet ship was ok and effects were well done at times but overall i wouldn't rate it any more than 6/10. I still think transfomers 1 is one of my best films, the sound was amazing and the pace was great. This was just boring in comparison. I thought maybe because ive seen too much of transformers now so its lost its appeal, but i gave first one another look and still awesome too watch.
