Just found out why I've been getting grain on my Tosh E1. Some nubbin switched Game Mode off on my Samsung 32". IIRC that enables all the mad post processing algorithms which were rendering blacks with a lot of noise/grain. I just switched game mode to on, therefore disabling the post processing and the grain is less apparent now. Overall PQ is a lot better, still not the best I've seen though but I'm happier.

Grain is SUPPOSE to be there !!! It's a style of filming. Theres a reason it looks more gritty than a studio cam on the David Letterman set.
Yes I realise that, except if you saw what I was getting you'd want to run in front of a bus. The grain I was on made 300 look superb.

Wasn't really a love story though was it? It was just the usual cliched hollywood ****. And I have to say Mega Fox was a terrible actor in it, but then again I doubt they cast her for raw acting ability.

Agreed. I struggled to watch it. Turned it off half way through because I got bored. Did eventualy watch the rest at a later date. I won't be watching it again.
