We have a condo in florida, bradenton and it's a really nice area. It's in a good area of town. There are some really nice beaches near by and lots todo close. Yes there are some bad areas but wherver you go there are bad areas.

Not really fair. There are some fabulous places in Florida. I've been there 7-8 times and it's always been first class. Plus the Brits like it because of the weather - we get to see this hot, round, yellow thing in the sky that we've heard tell of
I also live in the US. I think I've visited about 70% of the states here - the only ones I can think of that don't have any major scummy areas are up in New England. I'm sure Vermont has a ghetto somewhere.....but I can't imagine where.

Virgin Atlantic do not fly to Malaysia.
I think scum bags like to go where the weather is nice. When they have a bunch of outstanding warrants or whatever and they're thinking about where to escape their problems they must think "hey Florida looks nice". Also Florida has some law where you can't lose your house if you get sued so a lot of really sketchy people live there. Like Bubbles would say... "greasy".
