Just measured my tyres tread depth with a tread depth gauge. My Dunlop tyres had 7.94mm tread from new and all of mine are just under 7mm now. I’ve done 5350 miles on them.

They reckon you should get 20,000 miles out of the fronts and 40,000 out of the rears. My fronts are on course for that but I’m not sure I’ll get 40,000 out of the rears.

Had an argument with her in a kebab shop in Southport.. I know the owner and he kinda made me jump the queue a little bit. But little miss talentless (if it weren't for her jubblies) didn't like it....

She looks better in photo's

Smashed Kebab?

@nlel1975 Are you sure it's 7mm as an average per tyre, or did you just take 1 measurement per tyre?

There could be flat spots.

I suggest measuring depth for the entire circumference of each tyre at 1cm intervals, inside middle and outside of the tread.

I'll wait here for the update.
