Tri-Fire AMD Brethren

Dragon Age 2 was one of those games that roped you in quite well with it's narrative as it's entirely spoken, but once completed you realise that you don't really go anywhere. The game is based around the same three locations.

Then when you play the first half hour of Witcher 2 it hits you. Why did I spend 30+ hours playing that ****.

This will give you an idea where to start when you get tweaking.

Ignore the Dram Voltage in the pic above I think yours run @1.5v

Well got the board in, got the new dominators in (wow they're so heavy compared to the sammys lol) and Houston we have lift off. No issues at all this time. Straight in, back of the net as that man from Norfolk says.

Now do i reinstall Windows first or spend time tweaking and overclocking and then reinstall & activate? Decisions decisions.

Shall i update the mobo bios? I noticed it's using a newer revision than the last one, but it's still not the absolute latest. Answers on a postcard please.
 
you might be able to do a straight hdd/windows swap,windows will install any needed drivers

it will have a hissy fit and loop if it cant though,some chipsets you can skip to without re installing and some you cant

ive had no stability issues either when it has worked

My OCD will not allow that. New board, new OS comes with the territory.

I have all my games backed up so it's not too much of a painful process. Two hours and ill be sorted.

EDIT

Does anyone have any tips for speeding up the boot time? Takes an age compared to my P8Z77 WS.
 
hdd timout in bios set to 0,disable full screen logo?

any usb devices/hubs plugged in,those could stall startup
 
how long is long? some board do take longer than others,tried without fastboot? its flaky on some boards

cant think whatelse other than very latest bios?

mine takes 24 sec for example
