Trine 3 - coming 2015

Trine 1 and 2 were great, both game play and graphics, I expect the same from this. The soundtracks were fantastic too.

Early Access Patch #4 - ALL Art Assets to the Public Editor
29 APRIL - KAIFB
Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power has just gotten Early Access Update #4! We’ve decided to help out the modding community for Trine 3 by giving out ALL the art assets that we’ve made so far to the public editor users, and this includes everything that’s yet to be released in the actual game (even story level assets!).

We hope this will help you create even cooler new mods :)

There’s of course also been a lot all-around fixes, which you can spot from the full changelog below.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support and contribution!

List of Known Issues
* Currently 32bit Windows environment has trouble running the game (not enough memory).
* Game might be unstable. Especially 32bit executable has issues to run the game. 64bit executable can also crash after very long play sessions.
* Online Multiplayer doesn't have sound if Voice Chat is enabled. You can disable it from %appdata%/Trine3/options.txt (more info on Steam community forums)
* Older GPUs might cause graphical flickering if occlusion culling is enabled. You can disable it from %appdata%/Trine3/options.txt (more info on Steam community forums)
* Public editor cannot process convex physics objects (scaling those objects won't work in MODs). Box physics will work.
* Public editor cannot update itself. You need to delete editor_path.txt file from your game install directory. Editor needs to be installed into empty directory and your older changes will remain in the old editor folder.
* Public editor MODs will flash black when player takes damage. You can fix this by adding "ColorEffectEntity" anywhere into your custom level

NOTE: This patch is about 2GB due to the added assets.

not played this much since buying it, am yet to complete the first 2. although pretty close to the end of number 1.

gunna try and smash through them before official release

Played a bit of this last night. 4k 3D runs quite nicely and looks fantastic. The 3rd person camera actually lends itself quite well to 3D gaming here.

Just watched the Totalbiscuit review and have to say I'm hugely disappointed in this 3rd installment. Completely the wrong way to take the game imo. People liked the first two because they were 2D in amazing style and detail, I don't want to play a game where I am having to judge the 3D jumping in and out of the screen, wanted more of what we were used to from first two games. A shame, one game I would never have questioned buying up to this point. :(
