Hello.

Does a new (not second hand, refurbished, etc) monitor with the following specs not exist anymore?

2560x1600
At least 27 inches (actual viewable screen)
Flat, not curved.
As least 'wide' as possible. I prefer my monitors to have a good height.
No gaming, just viewing video, etc. I am aware that 16:9 is recommended for video, but my current monitors are 16:10 (1920x1200).
A good viewing angle (horizontal AND vertical) is a bonus but not sure if that means LCD or LED. A simple search on the web for 'difference between LCD and LED' proved useless as some websites claimed LCD offered better viewing angles whilst some claimed LED offered better viewing angles! Some didn't even cover the aspect!
This is my current graphics card.

I am not holding my breath! Haha.

Thank you.

I thought as much! Haha.

So plan B would be to consider a 2560x1440 monitor. I have had a search and found a very suitable one, but unfortunately it seems to have been sold out EVERYWHERE! I think it's from 2024, so I don't think I'll find one anywhere.

It's the Gigabyte GS32Q-EK.

I'll try to find something similar.

Hello. I thought the Gigabyte was higher than it was, but seems there isn't any shortage of monitors that are the same size as the Gigabyte, so I think I might reduce my budget. Previously, I didn't want to spend any more than £250 per monitor but I'm sure my requirements could be met for a LOT less than this!

I forgot to add a reputable brand to my list of requirements.

This may be a really stupid question, but are there any 2560x1440 monitors that have a more squarer than wide shape or will they all be more or less the same height and width, for example, most 32" monitors seem to be around 70x39 cm (viewable area).

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £129.95 (includes delivery: £0.00)

If all you do is watch video content you might be better off with a VA panel, see here for explanations on panel types:

It could be a case of any cheap monitor might do for viewing angles, it's hard to say as you're hardly forthcoming. It almost sounds like you're setting up a security system and need multi-monitors for it, at that point any cheap screen will do for multi panels, nobody buys a monitor for non-nearfield use.

there's a few but they are all top spec and pricy 1500£+ , try the

Dell UP3017 - ULTRASHARP

i currently use 4 monitor with 2560x1600, 2x dell and 2x hp. brilliant resolution, works perfectly as 100% scaling in windows.

i know you said no s/h or used. But for info you can buy these screens for less than £150 in all the usual places. A lot have a hours on counter which can be checked.

edit just noticed it's for video use? In that case go 16:9 which gives you almost any choice of size, and resolution. If it's really for video and entertainments even consider a 4K TV.
