Trouble Shooting - Blue Screen Crash

I think it's definitely worth a shot, I ran registry mechanic after the install but your method seems more thorough covering more bases,
Reading into the bsod with my crosshair iv extreme with the Intel driver is not as uncommon as I thought resulting in people binning the board which ideally is not what I want to do.
 
I don't want to speak to soon but I think I've solved it..

Before i could even carry out removals of software or even re flash the bios (as recommended by an email back from asus ) i ran registry mechanic again cleared up loads off issues and seems a lot more stable but only time will tell/

if it goes ill re flash to an earlier bios version as the beta i have can be unstable.

at the moment i have almost every program on the desktop open listening to music whilst watching a video etc and it seems ok when normally would have popped its clogs by now.
