If your asking what clock settings I run in CCC? Im running them both at 950/1450.The stock clocks are 900/1450 allthough either settings run BF3 perfectly fine with no other changes.
 
By looks of things these were on Pre order, looking at the product page these are due on 28/5/2012
 
I was swaying back and forth between the VTX 7950 and the GTX 670, but at £269.99 and 3 free games.. I cannot complain.

Now.. I need a new PSU any thoughts? My current PSU is 500W and its not going to be anywhere near enough for this beast lol.
 
I remember this time last year we were all loving the GTX 480 deals...its like a repeat this year with the 580's.

However this year I will be resisting the temptation...my 480 SOC is holding up very well!
 
Gibbo whats happening with these lightning cards? I ordered two on Friday when they were in stock and my order is just sat in the warehouse que. Were these in fact not in stock when they were sold?

I was expecting delivery today.

We only had 8 in stock and orders came in quicker than expected. As such the orders came in too quick for the website to cope as the stock level updates on a 5-15mins intervals.

I have more stock due anyway this week however and those who ordered at the low price shall have their orders honored and shipped out.
 
somewhat annoying as i posted my 6990 i sold on the MM this morning :(

there were 4 in stock when i placed my order which instantly showed up as leaving 2 in stock.
 
Hm.. The OCZ PSU I ordered has been shipped but the 7950 just says "printed in warehouse" I wonder if it will get shipped today.

I was looking forward to putting it all together tomorrow :P

Why i choose OCUK.

Faulty 580 yesterday arrived at 10 am, Called them at 1030 am, They sent a RMA email at 1035 am. Back in post by 1pm, RMA completed by them this morning on receipt. 4pm today a new 580 sent for morning delivery. FLAWLESS.

Credit where credit is due!.
 
Is a new graphics card worth it? I have 8gb ram 4.7ghz cpu, 2 x ssd and a 5870... not found a game that I can't run well????

What games are you guys playing that warrant these new cards? Have I missed a blockbluster game of the last 2 years?
 
Well if i want to run BF3 @ 1440p everything on, Then yes i need 580 sli.

You have a nice pc there, Just get a better card if your rez and eyes demand it, Mine do.
 
It seems to be the monitor.

I borrowed a friends stock 7970 and git 27 fps on my settings at 2560x1440 playing BF3

Thus I need two to run at a respectable frame rate.

Depends what your game is and how big your monitor is. I really did shoot myself in the foot getting this screen as the power required to run it is a bit silly.
