Dont try to improve your trust, can that even be done? improve your own self confidence.
doubting your partner is normally due to your own self confidence. my relationship started as a long distance one, we were young so i would work all saturday to afford to get the train down to see her (which cost as much as i earned!)
lasted for 7 years, ended today, i never once thought she was fooling around as our relationship was geniune and loving.
Its been 13 months and its getting tough. UK Visa Rejected. Was hoping to spend Christmas together and New Year. Everything seems to be going wrong.
Tonight she is with her friend and ignore my calls for nearly 6 hours. Then when she answered she said she was busy and hung up, turned her phone off etc. I'm just left thinking why? lol.
When my current Gf first went away,i did find it hard to trust her from her previous reputation, but if your with mates you tend to forget about it and just enjoy the time while shes away
This is my problem. I have ALWAYS lacked self-confidence. I've tried books, cd's etc. Sometimes i'm fine and sometimes i am just so down and always thinking something bad of her, that she is doing something wrong when in actual fact it's all my fault and i'm just being paranoid.
I don't think you can improve your trust in someone particularly, at least not in any short term sense, you've just got to evaluate their actions and see whether you find them to be worthy of your trust. Be careful that you aren't just allowing paranoia to cloud your judgement, there may be a perfectly innocent explanation as to why she didn't answer her phone for several hours (aside from anything else maybe she simply wanted to spend uninterrupted time with her friend) but equally try to assess it rationally.
