My workmate eats cheese and jam. Apparently they always got it when he was a marine.

A weird but awesome combo.

Is burnt cold brown toast, butter, peanut butter and bovril.. Awesome of all awesomeness.

similar thing is the tesco duck wrap thing.

Duck with noddles in a tortilla wrap. It's a great fast sandwhich for work.

why on earth would you call it a barm / barmcake. why say something that sounds worse and takes longer to say than the word you are replacing?

Its a Regional thing, i edited my origional post to include the wiki page.

the same as we call Chips and Peas, a Split. now you cant say that sounds worse.

So it's not used as a replacement word for bun. It is a certain type of roll.
