Hi well im trying to update the graphics card in my my ADVENT DT1310b wich i brought from pc world 1 and a half years ago. The reason why is because my current graphics card cant run arma3 very well. Ive never done this before so any help and recconmendations to good graphics wich will work on my pc would be much appreciated. Price isnt really the issue so the more powerfull the better.

My pc specs
Manufacturer: Advent DT1310b
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2310 CPU @ 2.90 GHz 2.90 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System windos 7 Home premium
Graphics card: GeForce GT 530
Current Graphics card Bus type: PCI Express x 16 Gen2
Power supply: 450 watts DC

In my opinion, get a better CPU for £50-£100, XFX is a brilliant PSU manufacturer
One like this:

Or if you want a bit more wattage, and a 80+ silver instead of bronze, go for this:

Graphics card I would go for this:

It may be a bit bottlenecked, but the PSU leaves room for maybe Xfire in the future, and you can upgrade the rest of the components without having to worry about upgrading PSU/GPU for a while. But really it depends on how much you would spend, and if the PSU and GPU would fit in the case.

Edit: Also, I would recommend ATI because the 7950 has a 384-bit interface as the 660Ti has a 192-bit interface, which leads into a massive difference, and the 7950 can be overclocked to the performance of a 7970 stock clock.
At the price range of £200-£300, ATI is the way forward for the minute, the 660Ti and 7950 are around the same price, the 7950 a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it.

You need a new PSU. I wouldn't put a £150-£200 card on a PSU with a sticker labeled (noisekiller) on it..

No, I agree. It's all very well getting a good GPU, but if the PSU can't handle it, at best it won't do much, and at worst it will blow up.

OP, what screen resolution do you use? Have a look at the ATI 77xx series. They should handle ARMA3 at mid-high quality, depending on your resolution, and will put less strain on the PSU than the 78xx series.

Do you know if you can change the PSU out of your current PC? And if you could, would you be willing to spend the money on a better one?

A 560ti's load power draw is 352W (full system) which is dangerously close to your PSU's upper limit, especially considering it's unbranded.

While the 7750 power draw under load is 216W (full system), a lot safer..

I would go with the 7750..

(these stats were pulled from anandtech bench, just to give a general overview)
