Turbos

I dont think exclusivity has anything to do with looks at all, really.

Are you really saying that if Pagani had a bumper year and sold 100,000 Zonda's it would no longer look like a supercar?

No, it would look common.

Nah the NSX is rubbish like Fox said, everyone from Gordan Murray to Senna is full of crap.

Whats the 911 in bad boys? I wouldn't mind that one, at a push lol.

Thats a 964 911 turbo i think.

When you get goaded try not to loose the temper, i used to do that on here, you fail in the end, you have to remain calm.

At the end of the day, looks are subjective.

Personally I think that the NSX is quite a tidy looking car considering that it was designed when I was still in Pampers (properly a twikle in my father's eye actually:o), but that's just me.

Like it or lump it, the NSX is a cult car. People here might go "LOL, it's ugly/old/has a crap interior/a honda/only has 280BHP/does 0-60 in x.x seconds slower than a proper supercar/whatever", but fans have absolutely no problem handing over large amounts of money for em. To the gran turimso generation it is one of the "It" cars and is going to hold/go up in price, just like tidy Supras, Skylines and special edition evos and imprezas. It's one of my generation's MK2 Escorts, Audi quattros and E30 M3s.

Like I said, supercar? Perhaps not. I don't think that many people even consider the GTR to be a fully fledged supercar despite it having the numbers to back up the hype, which the NSX doesn't really seem to have, but I still think that it is far from fair to call the NSX a crap car.

To your "average" guy on the street with 25k to spend on a 911 type car he is probably going to buy a 911, but for the enthusiast who is actually aware that Honda once had a crack at building a "supercar" and wants one very badly, there is no question what he'll buy. Despite it not entirely making sense on paper

Great post mate, well said.

If i was totally loaded, i have no doubt in my mind id bag myself a NSX-R, id go to japan and bring it back if i had to, hehe.

Dont forget "common" is a bit area dependent too, in London anything is common, in Barnsley less so (no offence to Barnsley) dosent make them any less super.

Also 911s are popular for a reason.
