Turn your lights on!

Modern LED clusters are extremely intense. It's compounded by larger 4x4 style cars having the brakelights exactly at eye level.

I guess, this sort of thing does not really bother me.

I agree about fog lights when it's not foggy.

I also find I get a lot of people who put full beam on a few seconds before they have passed me which is quite distracting.

The chavs who drive around with fogs on when it isn't remotely foggy, I put my brights on at them if no one else is around.

People sat on the brakes at traffic lights with modern LED brake lights *really* glare, so much I have to turn my head or its very uncomfortable.

The people who flash people because they have decent bright lights which can actually see the road ahead.
Yes I have decent Road legal bulbs in my car, thanks for acknowledging them by blinding me with your full beam.

Maybe in the future car designers will add something that dims your lights if you are just sitting in a traffic queue.

Motorway builders would help if they just blanked off the central reservation, there is no point in being able to see the other side at night. 30 miles of looking at HID lights is no fun.

adjust your lights so they arnt dazzling other drivers then.

have you ever actually checked the pattern is correct?

I've not noticed the Lack of Lights in the evening however I have noticed a lack of Fog Lights when It be foggy which really grinds my Gears!

It's rarely foggy enough to actually warrant using fog lights though, I find.

More often than not you can still easily see cars over 200m away and people have their fogs on.

The other week there was light fog, but you could still see cars half a mile ahead (I checked) people were blinding me with their unnecessary rear fog lights in a constant flow of traffic. Grrrr

My lights are fitted correctly and on almost the lowest level setting. I think it's just some drivers have got such crappy eyesight.

I've also got mine on low, but if the road isn't level then it probably looks like they are on high because they are so much brighter when looked at directly.

HID's may only put out a bit more light, but because it is all coming from a tiny point then it's harder to look at.

Audi's running lights are fairly dim, but being tiny points of light they are really irritating.
Same for XML lights on cycles, technically a fraction of a 55W light bulb but impossible to look at.
Light designers are not taking this into consideration and need their eyelids sewn to their forehead.

It annoys me when people have their headlights on the lowest height setting and their beam pattern stretches barely 1 metre in front of them. Why even bother turning on your lights?

Luckily, OEM Xenon HID lights mandate auto-levelling, either through the headlight unit or suspension.

Don't forget to mount your satnav in the middle of the windscreen and set it to the brightest possible setting whilst driving at night.

Seems to be standard for a lot of people.

Mine don't.. HID's are perfectly fine if aimed correctly. I can see things for a large distance no one has yet to flash me
