Turn your lights on!

Noticed many of the Lexus and BMW round here have the brake light fault. even checked one to see if they were auto and were using the left foot on the brake, it was a manual.

there seems to be a pandemic of one headlighted cars round these parts. every 5th-ish car has at least 1 bulb out.
if the local plod wanted to make some money they could just do a road block/check on any busy road with a fixed penalty fine for driving an unroadworthy vehicle. they'd pay for everything in a single day of checks! much more road safety focused than speed cameras.

I see a lot of those one eye'd monsters too. It's a pretty scary thought to see them going along at 70mph, when their one headlight could fail at any moment.

Sorry morning me missed off OEM bit.

No i fitted mine myself H7r's in reflectors but like the DS3 and an older renault (cant remember model) they use HID's in reflectors with a anti glare strip on the bulb. As do mine

Mot station is cool with it. says there smart and work

Yes, but halogen and HID reflector designs have to be different because the light outputs from both bulbs are different (and I don't mean just the intensity). They have to be specifically shaped to angle light from a HID and the DS3, Renault Laguna, Honda Civic etc which use them, will have different reflectors for each type of headlight.

Yes, using the -R bulbs will help but it still won't be right.

All other drivers on the road = morons.

No disrespect but I treat each and every one of you like morons on the road, that way I am prepared for anything stupid you are about to do.

My grandad told me that, its good advice.

My lights are fitted correctly and on almost the lowest level setting. I think it's just some drivers have got such crappy eyesight.

Yes & they're dipped to the point they can't be dipped any more and I still get the ****ers full beams because they're either blind or complete tit biscuits!

they actually adjusted to the side as well?

Agreed, drive like everyone else is actively trying to drive into you!

Hello to last nights white van man,
The reason at least four people didn't let you past and drove really slowly is that your lights were too high and it blinded everyone, and your tailgating didn't help either.
Looking forward to annoying you again :)

Lights are on at dusk

Side lights LED, main beams ultravision, plenty of powah

Just upgraded the number plate bulbs to LEDs, much better

I can be seen, and not idiotic enough to drive with no lights, although I do see people who have blentently forgot to turn their lights on at 9pm

It's because a lot of dash boards are now lit as default. Oh and that most people are thick.

This.

In my old Celica it simply wasn't possible to drive at night with the lights off as it was so obvious when sitting in a dark cabin. I drive a Focus now and can see how people would do it. I never have but still.

Yup only people who drive on the wrong side of the road(e.g The french*spits*) should be complaining sfaic.

Have you actually check them ie had someone else in your car and seem how they look.

I know my lights blind people but it they're blind at least they know I'm there :p
