Turtwig, Piplup or Chimchar?

Found the guy that forgets moves for you.
Now:
Pupitar - Earthquake, Crunch, Stone Edge, Rock Slide
Infernape - Grass Knot, Fireblast, Ember, Focus Blast
Dialga - Ancient Power, Metal Claw, Flash Cannon, Roar of Time
Gyarados - Hyperbeam, Ice Fang, Surf, Waterfall
Luxray - Tackle, Crunch, Shockwave, Charge Beam
Staraptor - Close Combat, Return, Fly, Aerial Ace

That old woman wont teach Dialga that move, because aparentely he doesnt like me yet. :p.

Tasks:
Pupitar - get him to evolve - 1 level to go.
Infernape - Perhaps a proper fighting move?
Dialga - That move off the old woman.
Gyaragos - Some more physical moves, ideas?
Luxray -A normal move thats better than tackle.
Staraptor - Replace Close combat with an air move.

Suggestions?

##EDIT##
Odd.
Got Pupitar to level 55 half way through a battle against the second of the elite4, but he didnt evolve? Nor did he evolve afterwards.
I take it that ive got to wait till level 56 now?

Found the relearner guy. Just need to get some heart plates. Dunno how though. :(.
Do you have the Explorer Kit? Use it to dig underground, then head for any flashing dots on the map. Tap the screen to find any points in the wall, then click on them to dig there. You should be able to find some Heart Pieces that way.

Is there a way i can get my pokemon to forget the HMs?
Ive decided i want to have 1-2 pokemon that'll have all the HMs, and then a team of 6 who are just for fighting.
You need to find the Move Deleter, who's a different person from the Relearner. Somewhere in Canalave City apparently. He can get rid of any learnt HM moves.

Bidoof/Bibarel makes a good HM Pokemon, as it can learn Cut/Surf/Strength/Rock Smash/Waterfall/Rock Climb. If you combine it with a Tropius (I can give you one if you want), you can cover all 8 HMs between them.
Luxray -A normal move thats better than tackle.
I have Strength on mine. It's not a bad substitute for Return in my eyes.
Staraptor - Replace Close combat with an air move.
Nah, leave Close Combat on, it's a beastly move. Replace Fly instead.

Very strage. Not holding an everstone is he?

Ive only seen them dots show up the once. :(.

Found some dots, but nack all happens, they just light up if they are in the circular area that gets generated when i tap?

Found him, and started giving my Pokèmon new TMs.

Ive currently taken HMs off most of my 'team' and given them to a Graveler and a Tentacruel.
Gyarados has Waterfall and Surf, and Staraptor has Fly.

I have Strength on mine. It's not a bad substitute for Return in my eyes.
So your suggesting replace 'Tackle' with 'Strength'?

Very strage. Not holding an everstone is he?
Nope, just experiance share, he wasnt being used when he hit 55?

How is the rest of my team shaping up?
Pupitar - Earthquake, Crunch, Stone Edge, Rock Slide
Infernape - Grass Knot, Fireblast, Ember, Focus Blast
Dialga - Ancient Power, Metal Claw, Flash Cannon, Roar of Time
Gyarados - Hyperbeam, Ice Fang, Surf, Waterfall
Luxray - Tackle, Crunch, Shockwave, Charge Beam
Staraptor - Close Combat, Return, Fly, Aerial Ace

Any other suggestions for changing?
I want to get Gyarados to use Aqua Tail, as its a physical move isnt it?
Infernape seems quite good now though. :p.

Stand next to those dots that light up, face them, and press A.

Must have done 50+ now, nothing but spheres! :(.

How does the rest of my team look though?

Pupitar - Earthquake, Crunch, Stone Edge, Rock Slide
Infernape - Grass Knot, Fireblast, Ember, Focus Blast
Dialga - Ancient Power, Metal Claw, Flash Cannon, Roar of Time
Gyarados - Hyperbeam, Ice Fang, Surf, Waterfall
Luxray - Tackle, Crunch, Shockwave, Charge Beam
Staraptor - Close Combat, Return, Fly, Aerial Ace

Im thinking:
Pupitar - Evolve.
Infernape - Perhaps a PP upgrade for fireblast + a fighting move to replace ember?
Dialga - Nothing.
Gyarados - Learn aqua tail, or other physical move to replace hyper beam.
Luxray - replace tackle with strength.
Staraptor - Nothing.

Thoughts?

Are you doing it on the walls? The ones in the ground won't yield any heart pieces. But yeah, either way, it'll take a few goes. I was lucky enough to find one on my third try a few days ago. You've made me start playing my copy again now. :o

As for your team, yeah that looks good. :) Infernape can relearn Close Combat if you find a heart piece. I'd still suggest levelling up Staraptor to get Brave Bird (replace Aerial Ace if you're not keen on ditching Fly - you can always use your Aerial Ace TM on Tyranitar(!) if you want to keep the move). And I don't think there's anything else good Gyrados can learn tbh, Hyper Beam might be worth keeping just in case. What does Aqua Tail do again?

Yeah, all the ground ones are traps on mine? :(.

Is it worth teaching Infernape close combat?
As some of the moves im teaching my Pokèmon have very low PPs on them. :(.

Im not sure about staraptor tbh. Would be handy for him to have another flying move, but the move 'fly' comes in handy at times, and i use that HM all the time.
Im considering getting rid of 'return', as unless im battling weak pokèmon, its pretty useless. :(.

From what i can tell, AquaTail is a physical water move. So as Gyarados is a physical water pokèmon, it would probably cause a lot of damage?

Well Waterfall does that already, so it would be largely irrelevant getting another move that does the same thing. Like I said, it might be worth sticking with Hyper Beam, just in case you want a high-power suicide attack on some overly-strong pokemon. I was thinking of Aqua Ring, which is why I asked what it was.

Fly isn't a bad move by any means, but from what I've read, Brave Bird is pretty awesome, and I think it learns it around the level yours is at. I'm suprised Return isn't that strong, as it's a powerful move, and it has the type boost from Staraptor being part Normal. It's worth keeping mainly for the fact that Normal type hits almost everything, so it's a useful backup when you don't have a super effective move (or the poke that would have it is down) against the enemy.

Since you don't have any decent Fighting TMs (no Brick Break), I suggested Close Combat. It's stupidly powerful, and Infernape has the ridiculously high attack stat and fighting type to further boost it. Tbh you can defeat almost any pokemon near your level just by spamming that move.

As for the low PPs, just stock up on Ether/Elixirs before you go in to the Elite4, and re-PP your pokemon between each trainer. :)

Are there any good chances after the elite4 to get experiance points?
Im finding that per pokèmon of the elite4 i beat, i get 1500 points, with whoever has the experiance share, getting roughly the same.
Great way to level up. :p.

Hyper beam has always been pants for me. Used to be a really good move in 'Red' but in this version its rubbish. :(.
Plus, i thought Gyarados had poor special attack abilities, which would make Hyper beam pretty useless?

In regards to infernape, if i can find enough PP up's, i can up Fireblast to at least 10pp, lose Ember, then find a 'break brick' TM for him.
If it wasnt for the fact that PP up's cost a fortune, i'd have all my Pokèmons moves upped to at least 10pp each.:p.

If they start with 5pp, you can't up a move beyond 8pp. :p It's 1/5th extra PP a move per PP Up, to a maximum of three.

Hyper Beam is still a sweet move, it's just kind of wasted on a Gyrados. Unfortauntely though, Gyrados has very very few physical attacking moves it can learn, and as said, if it knows Waterfall, Aqua Tail is somewhat redundant.. So, since Hyper Beam is so damn powerful, it somewhat makes up for it, and is worth keeping just in case you fight something with terrible Sp. Defence.

Also, if you need EXP after the Elite4, just fight them again. You can repeatedly fight them, and get a sizeable amount of experience every time.

So when ive beaten then, i can actually face them again?

Found a heart sharde, now my team has:
Gyarados: Hyperbeam, Ice Fang, Surf, Waterfall.
Staraptor: Close Combat, Return, Fly, Aerial Ace.
Luxray: Crunch, Thunder, Shockwave, Charge Beam.
Dialgia: Ancient Power, Metal Claw, Flash Cannon, Roar of Time.
Infernape: Grass Knot, Fireblast, Close Combat, Focus Blast.
Tyranitar: Earthquake, Crunch, Stone Edge, Rock Slide.

Things to do:
- Evolve Charmander into Charizard, possible replacement for Infernape?
- Infernape: PP upgrades.
- Dialga: Find a way to get him to like me so he can learn Drago Meteor.
- Gyarados: - Learn aqua tail, or other physical move to replace hyper beam.
- Staraptor: Level up to learn next move.
- Tyranitar: Im considering giving him aerial ace? Thoughts?

Other worthwhile Pokèmon that are around the same levels as the rest of my team:
Mespirit: Confusion, Lucky Chant, Future Sight, Charm.
Azelf: Confusion, Uproar, Future Sight, Nasty Plot.
Alakazam: Role Play, Psychic, Future Sight, Trick.
Steelix: Dragon Breath, Iron Tail, Crunch, Double Edge.
Medicham: Force Palm, Hi Jump Kick, Psych Up, Power Trick.
Golbat: Air Cutter, Mean Look, Poison Fang, Haze.

Also, why does the national dex need 150 in the Sinnoh dex to be obtained, but the Sinnoh dex has only 149 enteries? Im confused.

It only has 149 because it will only show you up to the highest pokemon you have seen. Palkia is #150, and while you can't get it in Diamond, you can see a picture of it (and thus add it to your pokedex) somewhere in the game, though I forget where.

As for your team, I don't know if there's much more you need to do with it. Level up Staraptor and get Brave Bird, and swap Aerial Ace around if you want, but other than that, I'd say you're fairly sorted. Stock up on Ethers to replenish your low PP moves, and give the Elite4 a try. :)

And yeah, once you've beaten them, you can go back to the E4 as many times as you like.

Do you think its worth having Charizard replace Infernape?
I know in the original red game (not fire red), that Charizard was a monster of a Pokèmon. Is he still that way in this game?

For some reason I thought you could get Ethers from the shops, but you can't. :o

This guide on GameFAQs should help you find a few in the wild using the Dowsing Poketch App. Ethers restore 10pp to one move, Ful Ethers restore all PP, Elixirs restore 10pp to all moves of that pokemon, and Full Elixirs, unsurprisingly, restore the lot.

As for Charizard, yeah, he's still a decent pokemon, but Infernape is just as awesome, so there's little to choose from. I'd stick with what you have, because the 'Ape's ability to switch between physical/special moves without much penalty might come in handy.

While I've been helping you, I started playing my game again, and got myself a shiny Eevee through breeding . Can't decide what I want to evolve it to yet though.

Well there's like seven different Pokemon Eevee can evolve to, innit (Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon and Leafeon). So I'm trying to decide which will look the coolest as a shiny.

Flareon's a bit turd, but the rest are all somewhat decent, so it's just personal preference really (plus I was breeding the Eevee's to make all of them anyway!). Thus I'm going for the coolest looking shiny. :p

Which looks like Umbreon, but I already have one of those. Bah.

Infernape is so good because his attack/special attack is so high.

but its important that you have the right nature Infernape, and the right IV and EV spread to totally max out either Spec attack and Speed, or Attack and Speed. anything else is just a waste.
