Turtwig, Piplup or Chimchar?

A few google searchs seem to point to it being a router/firewall problem.
I dont think the problems on my end, because i traded a few hours ago with mcc49 without problems. Has anything changed on your end since your last trade?

Hmm, i've only ever used the GTS and traded over DS Wireless. This is my first Wi-Fi trade

I'll get them now if you want them, it'll only take me a second. need any items for them to hold? Rare candy etc, i've got loads!

So i now have all 3 starters from diamond/pearl and all 3 starters from red/blue! :D

Well, you should get yourself a Ghost pokemon to be honest. Haunter is pretty good, then trade to get a Gengar, but out of the ones you have, take your pick out of a fire, water and grass - ghost pokemon can learn an electric moves, so no need for a shinx.
 
Just noticed, you've given me a few extras! Thanks. :).

Im thinking of sticking with my current squad, taking out Onyx, and training up Larvitar.
Then when he's trained, swapping Gyrados for either Piplup or Squirtle and doing the same, and so and and so forth.
 
To trade?
Just goto the trade thing in a pokemon center, and if whoever you want to trade with has you, and you them, on their friend list, that's who'll be in the 'private' lobby.
