Unless there are simultaneous games, which broadcasters don’t like as it reduces overall viewer numbers, there will nearly always have to be at least two or three 3pm saturday games.

There will be simultaneous broadcasts every weekend as part of this deal and there is, albeit only 2 rounds of fixtures, now. Its just being introduced gradually

Any weekend where there's no UEFA competition on the week before will have 3-4 3pm Saturday games. The simultaneous games will be the 2pm Sunday games where teams have played away on Wednesday or in the Conference or Europa league.

Based on the number of games being broadcast, there will be on average 3 Saturday 3pm's per weekend. Some weekends there might be as little as one and others there could be 4+.
