Ahhh....that's what we have PVR's for. Record and skip the ads.
TV licence is up for review again in 2016 so they may scrap it. In the meantime, TV licence will have doubled compared to what we are paying now and the BBC will have cut 50% of the services they are currently providing. Paying more for less in the future.....fun times ahead![]()

(IIRC the people that make them are often pretty highly skilled as to be authentic they need to use a lot of traditional materials and methods). There may be some out there who honestly never do use their TV for watching any TV signals, but I'm sure everybody switches it on every now and again. What if you had people over for example?

How to deal with TV License Inspectors :-
If they come round, don't give them any information. Tell them you've removed there 'assumed right of access' to your property and if they don't leave or come round again you'll call the police =and have them prosecuted for trespassing.
stick a dvd on or make conversation? i doubt people come around to your house to watch tv![]()
I'm not sure what you expect the Police to do. Trespass is a civil matter.
Just done a quick google on this, and as far as I can tell, hes right. Unless you get a court order for them to leave, the police can't touch them, and its not legal for you to forcibly remove them.
What a ****ing farce...
Sounds like my mother. Completely ignorant on most subjects but will still give a strong opinion on just about anything as if it were fact.

Not in all circumstances, Aggravated Trespass for example.
Indeed, but I can't see that being applicable here.
