TV looks smashed/cracked, but no external damage?

Ah ok, saw it was a Q model. Didn't think the QLED's used edge-lit technology.
So it couldn’t be a burst LED either? Could anything other than impact damage cause it?
This also happened to me, but my story didn't end so well.Same as mine a few months ago, visually looked perfect brand new in the box. Got it home and turned it on and wollah, smashed to smithereens!
Luckily bought from costco so was a breeze to return and get a replacement
The only difference is this mine happened about 2 and a half months later when I decided to remove the plastic protection cover from my screen. The one thing that really gets me is it seems that the protection cover was put on the tv before the frame arond the tv was placed, because when you try and remove the protection plastic cover it pulls from under the frame of the tv
Samsung keep saying it physical damage but there is no sign of any damage. All the plastic is still around the TV. So I'm also having a very difficult time proving this.

WHAT IS SEEN PHYSICAL DAMAGE.

I know it’s a while ago, but my money is on the mounting screw being too long
