Silver was also one of the first pc games I bought. What a brilliant game, but never got it working under xp/vista. Will have to give this a try though as it is an absolutely brilliant game

I loved this game so much back when it first came out. So i bought a cheap copy from eBay and i've got it working on my Vista 64bit OS via Virtual PC 2007.

I've got the silver.exe patch file as well and it's still the same. Also, the picture and video sizes are both 640x480, but they should be 768 with the patch right?
It plays perfectly when you either can't move the screen about, or when moving from left to right (see video). As soon as you move left or up, i get that graphics glitch.
Anybody got any ideas?

I have silver working a bit but there's this horizontal graphics corruption on the animated backdrops that makes it unplayable
