Consider the fact these are 120Hz and 3D Vision with glasses supplied, this pricing is absolutely bonkers. Awesome gaming monitors for very little money, stock is very limited as we have taking all of Acer's remaining stock which is literally just a few hundred now left. :)

ooo the 27 incher is exactly what i was looking for although i was after the asus should i / shouldnt i, ive only had my sammy a year and thats already 1080 although not 3d hmm

Good timing, my old Samsung 22" started playing up earlier this week so I'd started the process of looking for a replacement and was looking at a plethora of options in 24" ~£160 range. Too many choices in that range!

Then I got this email yesterday morning. For £20 over budget the 24" is a great deal for me, no brainer. very please with 3D and 120Hz for that little bump in price.

Taking Delivery today :)

Good price on the 24" but what is the point in including 3D glasses without the emitter, since it doesn't appear to be something that can be bought separately?

Think people have to get this?

Not sure if 3D Vision 2 and 1 are compatible with one another. May be OcUK should clarify are these monitors 3D Vision 1 or 3D Vision 2...cause it would be quite odd for new monitors to still use 3D Vision 1 instead of 2 I think...

My understanding was that the monitor had a built in emitter, and so you didn't need the separate one, though if not these seem a bit pointless...

Also, are they 3D Vision 1 or 2?

anyone able to compare the 27" with a sammy sa950? thats what I have atm and im just curious if it is better, but i know the samsung was around 600 new.

Marvin is Correct, I've just unboxed and had a small heart attack when I read on the glasses box that a Ir transmitter is required...

then in the Documentation is says

"Note: The monitor transmits using infrared technology and will not work if there is an obstruction..."

Do you need a nvidia graphics card to use 3D?

And when does "this week only" end? I'm after a new monitor, but really shouldn't be buying anything at the moment, after a few drinks I may be convinced otherwise though!!

Does my Gainward GeForce GTX 660TI 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card support 3D for this 27" monitor?

Yep, should run 1080p in 3D in the majority of games pretty well. Remember your frame rate will effectively halve with 3D enabled.
