Acer called me back enventually. (The idiot couldnt read down email to find my proof of purchase, good start!)
They will not replace it since I did not report the fault within 5 working days (how the $£$% was I supposed to know that, OC never informed me of this when I contacted them immediately with the problem.)
So they will only take it away and repair it.
Simply disgusting customer 'service' from Acer. It is a clear known issue with these units and this how we get treated?
Sorry OC but this one is on you. I have no option but to return this via OC RMA as Faulty.
Extremely annoyed and disappointed!
