I have got 2 x 250gb seagate 7200.10's,one is for windows files, films etc and second one for games.
Now if i was to upgrade would it be better to just get 2 hardrives again or get one big one like a f1 1tb?

I usually prefer to get two hard drives rather than one if I've got the choice, if one dies then I've still got some of my data, it can be quicker depending on how you organise them. At one point it could have been slightly cheaper also but presently the 750gb/1tb drives appear to be hitting the 'sweet-spot' in pricing terms.

ok thanks mate will stick with two drives but is it worth me upgrading to the f1's? will i see much of an improvement over the 7200.10's.
