Two player VR oculus quest 2 decent enough?

One issue will be you need two separate accounts and each will have to purchase the game if playing via the Oculus app, so that will add cost. I think the same would apply if using Steam VR but not 100%.

Thanks Dave, good to know one router all that's required - yes, had figured I'd need to pay twice, so not unexpected!

No should be fine, when it gets a bit warmer going to try mine outside in the garden/in front of the garage. Worked fine with the Quest 1, I've got better WIFI coverage now so the added play area will be amazing.

Awesome idea! Actually have pretty decent WiFi on main lawn as have an external router (orbi) positioned outside, so should be nicely set up for that (could also just temporarily run the Wifi6 router outside if any lags issues too.

Going to try that this year when it's much warmer as you say - if only to see the response of the neighbours watching a bikini-clad loon prancing around the garden in a vr set!

Just make sure no sunlight gets to the lenses. Otherwise it'll be a sad loon.

Last year I was playing one of the boxing games outside, luckily no neighbours overlook but the mother in law came round and was killing herself laughing in the kitchen.

Be careful outside, if you get sun on the lenses, you will be a very sad bikini-clad loon!! And the tracking doesn't work very well in full sunlight.

But, there is one great game that you should get, Space Pirate trainer DX, the arena mode. It's for 2 players. And it's a blast, literally

You just need a big space to play it.

Heheh! Well I have form - there are some incriminating photos of me playing guitar hero in a bikini.... (I got 100% on all Bowie songs at hardest level and it was clearly connected to my attire... And drunken state).

I'll consider sharing some pics in summer!

What's the issue re sunlight/lenses? Do they melt???

The lenses are basically magnifying glasses, focusing sunlight straight onto the sensitive LED screen. Burns the screen out.
