I have to Maxtor Sata drives and an ABIT AW9D-MAX Mobo. It only picks up one drive no matter how I configure everything in the bios. I haven't got a floppy drive so I can't add the extra drive during Windows install. Can I add it after installing Windows on one of the drives?

Cheers,

Gareth

Yes, you'll be able to add the second disk after the windows install but only as a second individul disk, not as part of a RAID array (not sure if this was your intention or not).

When you say "it" only picks up one drive, what is "it"?

No need to go as far as Partition magic.

Right click on My computer and pick Manage. The select Disk Management from the left hand tree of the new Window. The new disk will show in the right hand pane as being unpartitioned, right click and create a new partition and format as NTFS at the same time.
