Tyre Pressure

Front: 32
Rear: 23

This was after about 30mins riding.

Surely this is not right? :rolleyes:

Were they correct before you went out? Front is fine but rear should be 36.

Didn't check beforehand, as I went out to buy the tyre pressure gauge

Will leave it an hour and check when they're properly cold.

That looks like a cool piece of kit!
Although I cant recommend a good solid foot pump in the garage and just check them once a week.

Yes. My output has reduced recently due to the weather and not having anything to make a video about but I've made quite a few.

My most recent one from the Cat and Fiddle last Saturday and it was oh so bloody cold

18.5 psi.. Think I'll be having a date with an air compressor later on!

Sounds like a slow puncture.

Get yourself a foot pump and if it is a puncture see if it can get fixed (unless the rear tyre is close to needing to be changed).

Got a 150L air compressor in garage, so I'll just use that. The tyre is very close to replacement, so won't bother getting it fixed.

Not on an er6. Its 32 front and 36 rear.

42 is really high even for a crb600rr.
You'll find if you get a bit spirited in your riding in the summer that the tire pressure will be way too high by the time you tire is warm.

Id put 38 at most. more like 36 in a 600rr rear, same as I will do and always do or my sports bikes. 40 in winter mind you.

Just seen dunlop want me to put 36/42 in my roadbike tyres!! Is that right?

Ive used dunlop racing tyres at 20psi so seems crazy. Always thought they were meant to be used at low pressure as theyve a stiffer carcas.

Presumably the racing tyres start low because the extra heat means they gain more than you would on a road.
