Hi, just some advise please my tyers have cracked all the way round as in picture on all 4 tyres. Do they need replacing.

What are the tyres and how old?

Some performance tyres will crack on edges within 6 months due to the softer compound around the edge cracking when freezing over winter. This won't be perishing which is what you have to look out for.

Looking at the pictures some of those cracks between the tread seem to go in quite far. If that is happening, then they are perished.

Pass sorry the car as only done 1600 miles but I think it's been standing a long time. I think maybe from new 2018 but that's a guess.there are Michelin tyres all 4 tyres are the same.

Check the date on the tyres.

Are they Michelin Pilot Super Sports?

would have thought they would last much longer than that. Especially with the low mileage.

Make sure you check DOT code when purchasing as some tyre places will happy sell new tyres that could be years old and when they end up starting to crack again after a few years they say oh your tyres starting to crack and are old.

modern Michelin tyres crack really soon, i've got some which are about 4.5 years old and look like they're from the 1970's, no idea what they've done to their compounds over the last few years but im never buying them again.

Yeah had that on a 2006 Golf I bought from some old lady that never drove it. Only had 9000 miles on the clock  but the tyres did exactly what yours did.

If they have been sitting unused for a great period of time, they can develop flat spots and will need replacing anyway.

Yep same. Even the 'older' tyre versions don't escape it if they were manufactured more recently. My Michelin PS4 have done the same.
